Desalination of water is one of the most important engineering task facing the coastal regions of Pakistan. Lacking unlimited supplies of potable water, Pakistan has to depend on the desalination processes of brackish water and seawater to satisfy the ever-increasing demands.

Solar desalination driven by solar radiation as a heat source is freely available. Two methods including a "direct" method in which a solar collector is coupled with a distilling mechanism and the process is carried out in one simple cycle. While second 'indirect' method of solar desalination using modern solar photovoltaic technology alongside methods such as reverse osmosis (RO) and Multiple Effect Distillation (MED), which have the potential to operate at a much larger scale.

We are introducing more efficient and cost-effective process of indirect solar desalination by means of advanced equipment to increase our productivity on daily basis.
