With the use of a Graphite Adsorbent NYEX, a modified technique has been developed to determine the concentration of phenol in water. This technique employs the usage of Potassium Ferricyanide, Stock Phenol, 4 Amino Antipyrine Solution and a Buffer solution to prepare a dye of Phenol. Afterward, Graphite adsorbent is added tothe phenol solution and is then placed in Spectrophotometer to find absorbance in Au. The wavelength of spectrophotometer was set at 510 nm. Finally, this results also enables us to study kinetic study of NYEX.
