Abstract

In this study, pyrolysis process will be used for enhancing energy of agriculture biomass waste at different temperatures ranging from 350oC - 950oC. After going through pyrolysis, fuel qualities of derived biochar shall be studied including gross calorific value, PH, Fixed carbon, Carbon percentage and surface area. The analysis may show that the derived biochar has better fuel characteristics in comparison to raw biomass. The results may clear that after pyrolysis of agriculture biomass, the GCV, PH and carbon contents will be increased while the volatile matter and ash may decrease. The study may also clarify that with the help of pyrolysis different agriculture biomass feedstocks may be characterized on the basis of their fuel qualities. It may also be studied that Biochar produced from agriculture biomass having g good calorific value may be the best fuel to fulfill the energy requirement of Pakistan and may also the best environmental friendly energy source.
