Belief in the Antichrist has ancient religious and mythological roots in Iran.And it is noticed that there is a similarity between Laughter in the Pahlavitexts and the Antichrist in Islamic narratives. This belief leaked widely toclassical Persian antiquities. Its effect was not only limited to prose andpoetry, but also preceded to other fields. This effect was not free from theChristian beliefs of the Antichrist.This research aims at studying the doctrine of the Antichristshowing the effect and influence the doctrine of the Antichrist amongdifferent civilizations.Keywords: Antichrist, Mahdi, Christ, classic Persian poetry and prose
