The Cheragh Nameh narrated by Cheragh Ali Bin Sayyid Qutb Shah, is infact a collection of lyrical poems in alphabetical order and consists of 33lyric poems in Persian, which was composed in response to MahmoudNameh, narrated by Mohammad Mahmoud. Mushaerahas been verypopular in the past in Indo- Pakistan Subcontinent, and many poets of thesubcontinent followed this poem and wrote many imitating poems.
