Abstract


Persian language and literature reached to its peak in Kashmir in the period of King Akbar.He was a great patron of poets, writers and scholars. So,a great number of poets gatheredfrom all over sub-continent and Iran in his Court. During his reign, a lot of historical books,anthologies and dictionaries were written.Key Words: Akbar’s Period, Sub-Continent, Kashmir, Historiography
