Ratan Singh Zakhmi was born in Luckhnow in 13th century. He was well versed inPersian, Arabic, English and Turkish languages and various disciplines of his age. In poetryhe was a pupil of Muhammad Hussain Qateel and wrote a collection of Persian poetry.
