A Glance at the Hindu Memoir Writers of the Indian Sub-Continent
Abstract
Persian is one of the mellifluous and melodious languages of the world. It hasengraved indelible marks not only in the land of Iran but also in the region ofIndian Sub-Continent. It had the rank of official language during the Mughalera. It has been a tool of literary works of not only the Muslim writers but alsothe Hindu writers of this land. It is for this reason that we find many invaluableworks of the Hindu writers in this language. They have also written manypriceless and timeless memoirs of the Persian poets. Their memoirs havecentral position in Persian literature of the Indo-Pak Sub-Continent.
