After publication of Savshun by Simin Daneshwar in 1969, femalefiction writers of contemporary Iran have shown great interest in genre. Ahle-e-Gharq and Del-e-Foulad by Muniru Ravanipour are among well appreciatednovels published after Revolution of 1979. With the start of 21st century, manymore female writers chose to prove their mettle in this literary genre.
