Ustad Khalil Ullah Khalili was a celebrated poet and scholar of Persian Darilanguage in Afghanistan in 20th century. He produced some valuable works. UstadKhalili was immensely under the influence of Maulana Jalal-ud-Din Balkhi, the famouspoet, great scholar and eminent Sufi of 7th century A.H. Khalili had great respect forMaulana Rumi which has been reflected in his poetry and literary works as well,although, he always portrays himself as a pupil and humble follower of Maulana.
