Mathnavi Nahid Akhtar narrated by Prince Boland Akhtar
Abstract
Mathnavi Naheed Akhtar has been versed by Prince Boland Akhtar, theyounger brother of Muhammad Shah, the later Mughal period Emperor.The poet has given sufficient information about his own life andan experience of personal love affair. This Mathnavi is a good exampleof Persian poetry in 12th century’s Sub-continent and also proves themastery and command of the poet on Persian language and hiswonderful poetic skills.Key words: Mathnavi Naheed Akhtar, Prince Boland Akhtar, 12thcentury, Persian Literature, Sub-Continent
