Abstract

This study investigates the impact of students' financial literacy and socialization on their financial satisfaction, highlighting the mediating effect of students' financial risk attitudes. This study employs a descriptive design, utilizing quantitative methods for analysis. The current investigation employed convenience sampling, comprising a sample size of 512 students. Questionnaires were utilized for data collection. All of the sub-scales used to evaluate the constructs had adequate internal consistency and accuracy. The study's conclusions imply that improving young people's financial satisfaction requires a strong financial risk mindset. Additionally, the findings imply that financial knowledge and socialization improve people's attitudes toward financial risk, which in turn improves logical financial behavior and, eventually, raises financial pleasure. The findings of the study offer important insights into the factors influencing financial satisfaction among individuals living in urban areas of the Punjab province in Pakistan. Financial planners can apply the study's results to enhance their client's financial satisfaction, thereby leading to increased client retention rates. This study conceptually examines the mediating role of financial risk attitude in the relationship between financial knowledge and financial satisfaction, as well as between financial socialization and financial satisfaction. The research further enhances understanding by examining the moderating effect of financial behavior. This research investigates the hypotheses within the context of Pakistan.
