This cultural study identifies the literature of ancient and modern colonial territories. In Urdu literature, numerous studies have been presented to highlight the postcolonial impacts. Safdar Zaidi is a novelist who has exposed the sinister expansionist strategies behind the arrival of colonialists and invaders, giving history a new direction that this society is unfamiliar with. The works of novelist Safdar Zaidi, particularly, Chini Jo Meethi Na Thi and Bint e Dahir are also analyzed for their portrayal of life under colonial rule.
