He is Lecturer at Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering & Emerging Technologies, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan since 2012. He has received his B.Sc. Electrical Engineering degree from University of the Punjab and has done M.S Total Quality Management from the same university and pursuing PhD. in Electrical Engineering from University of Cape Town, South Africa. His areas of research are image processing and artificial intelligence. He teaches Computer Programing and Measurements & Instrumentation in B.Sc. Electrical Engineering program. He is official trainer for Microsoft and conducts regular in-house trainings. He also worked at Ministry of Defence, Mobilink and SNGPL before joining University of the Punjab. He is professional member of IEEE and Branch Coordinator of IEEE PU Branch. He is focal person ORIC for Department of Electrical Engineering.
