Dr. Asma Awan joined University of the Punjab in March 2018, as Lecturer of Economics. She earned her M.Phil. in Economics from the same University and stood second on merit. She received HEC Indigenous Scholarship for Ph.D. Program and successfully completed her Ph.D. in August 2019. She has a good blend of private and public sector teaching experience at post graduate level as a visiting lecturer from 2011. She also served Lahore Garrison University as Lecturer. On her credit, she has seven research publications in National and International HEC recognized journals. She has participated in various conferences and also attended various workshops. Her teaching and research interests encompass Macro Economics, Applied Econometrics, Development Economics, Managerial Economics and Monetary Economics.
