Dr. Shafiq ur Rehman is working as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Lahore Pakistan. He has done Ph. D in Education from the IER, PU, Lahore. His Area of specialization in Ph. D was curriculum. He has also completed MPhil in Mathematics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He has obtained the diploma of Educational Assessment and Evaluation from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He has been serving in the field of Education for the last Eighteen years. He is co-author of Mathematics of Grade 8 book got published by Punjab, Textbook Board, Lahore. He has got published several research papers in the national and international journals. He has presented dozens of papers in the national and international conferences. He has supervised graduate and post graduate level research projects.  He has visited India and Australia. He has contributed in the development of Teacher Guide for Mathematics at the Directorate of Staff Development. He has worked as the member of National Review Committee and Provincial Review Committee with Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Authority. He also worked as the Chairman Academic Affairs Committee at IER, PU, Lahore. His focus of interest is to conduct Mathematics Education, Curriculum Development and Information and Communication Technology.
