Introduction:
Dr. Muhammad Riaz is working as Professor of Mathematics, Department of Mathematics, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He has received M.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D degrees in Mathematics from Department of Mathematics, University of the Punjab Lahore. He has more than 27 years regular teaching and research experience. He has published more than 192 research papers in international peer-reviewed SCIE & ESCI journals with more than 5000 citations. He has supervised 08 Ph.D students and 35 M.Phil students. Currently, he is supervising 03 M.Phil and 03 Ph.D. students. He is HEC Approved Supervisor.
Dr. Muhammad Riaz is one of top 2% researcher included in the global list released by Stanford University in various disciplines in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
His research interests include Pure Mathematics, Fuzzy Sets & Systems, Algebra and Topology (Algebraic and Topological Structures), Machine Learning, Computational Intelligence, Image Processing, Soft set theory, Rough set theory, Neutrosophic sets theory, linear Diophantine fuzzy sets, Biomathematics, Aggregation Operators with applications in Multi-Criteria Decision-Making problems, Information Measures, Network topology and Pattern recognition.
