I did M.Sc. and M.Phil in Statistics from University of the Punjab, Lahore. I joined University of the Punjab, Lahore as a lecturer in 2010. In 2016, I went to Malaysia for doing Ph.D. After completing a Ph.D. from University Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ong Hong Choon, I came back to Pakistan in 2019. Then, I joined my official duties at College of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences, University of the Punjab. Currently I am serving the same college as Assistant Professor.
My research interest lies in Machine learning, Data mining, and Multivariate analysis. However, my particular research interest lies in Applied Optimization and Metaheuristic Algorithms.
