She is presently working as Professor and Director in the Institute of Education and Research University of the Punjab Lahore. She joined the Institute in January 1988. Before joining the institute, she worked as lecturer in education from 15-05-2008 to 15-01-1988 at Govt. Degree College for women in Lahore. She has about 16 research papers published in national and international peer reviewed journals. She has presented paper and attended more than 80 seminars, conferences and workshops at national and international level. She has supervised more than 200 Master dissertations on various aspects of education in Pakistan. Currently she is supervisor of 12 PhD students. She has conducted/participated in research studies at National Level. She has written a book on (Elementary School Curriculum). She teaches to master’s and Ph.D classes. Her teaching and research expertise lies in the area of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, Curriculum Development, Curriculum Evaluation , Research Methods in Education, Teacher Education, and Professional Development
