Dr. Rukhsana Anwar is B.Pharm and M.Phil (Gold Medalist) Pharmacy (Pharmacology) from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She was selected by Punjab Public Service Commission as a Hospital Pharmacist and Drug Inspector. Later on in 2002, she started her teaching career as Lecturer at University of the Punjab, Lahore. She was promoted as Assistant Professor in 2007. She is keenly interested in research, University of the Punjab granted her a scholarship for PhD, which she did from University Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. A couple of M.Phil and PhD students are working under her guidelines. Dr. Rukhsana has published several papers in International journal with high impact factors. Her areas of interest are: Pharmacology, Biochemical Pharmacology, Metabolomics and Herb Drug interactions. She is registered as member with Pakistan Pharmacist Association, British Pharmacological Society & Malaysian Society of Physiology and Pharmacology.
