LAHORE: (Thursday, June 02, 2016): Punjab University Institute of Agricultural Science (IAGS) in collaboration with PEPSICO organized a 2-day national workshop on “Food Safety Internship Program”. The workshop was attended by SDCM, Pepsi Cola International Izhar-ul-Haq Awan, Mufti-SANHA International Ehsan Zafar, Trainer, SGS International Shahid Soomroo, Sales Manager, PESTEX Environmental Solutions Saeed Alam, Director IAGS Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Haider, faculty members and students. In his address Dr Saleem said that the main objective of workshop was to build new professional’s competency level on food safety system through industry exposure for career building with food industry. He said that the exposure will be helpful for students to become Food Safety professional for food/packaging industry and improve their employment opportunities. He appreciated the IAGS collaboration with the industry.
