Abstract

The main background of this research is to propose a model for the Sweetening of Natural gas by use of (MDEA) for total Sulfur removal. The main purpose of this document is to provide fuel, free of pollutants, that have less hazardous effects to the environment.

The core objective of this project is very precise that is to remove Acid gases which contains H2S and CO2 as core substituents and mercaptans.

Aspen Hysys – Aspen ONE has been used to simulate and design a plant that facilitates the removal of Sulphur content up to the level of 95%. The analysis contains the case studies which compare the effect of Temperatures, Pressures and Composition using real time plant simulation values and optimum parameters for better efficiencies have been reported.
