International Conference On Emerging Trends In The Arts And Humanities

  • International Conference On Emerging Trends In The Arts And Humanities

    June 15, 2021 – June 16, 2021

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of the Punjab, will host its First International Conference ‘Emerging Trends in Arts and Humanities’ from June 15 to 16, 2021. This Conference will be held virtually but centred in the oldest and the most prestigious University of Pakistan, situated in the historically vibrant city of Lahore. Keeping up with the University’s tradition of scholarly engagement and social responsibility,
its Faculty of Arts and Humanities believes that the contribution of the Arts and Humanities is often marginalized since its accomplishments are often not measured quantitatively. The conference thus aims to highlight that the signifcance of this disciplinary domain has a crucial role in shaping multifarious communities. In this regard, our theme ‘Emerging Trends in the Arts and Humanities’ is a generative one.
Desiring change through updated practices, this virtual conference aims to arrest our capacity for reflection on contemporaneity, while observing social distancing amidst the pandemic.

    March 1, 2011 – March 1, 2011

Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of the Punjab, Lahore, has been organizing annual symposium on engineering sciences since 2008. All the departments in the faculty of engineering & Technology, has become the regular participants of the Institute. The event started in 2008 by invited lectures. Very warm response encouraged us to organize the event in 2009 where participation went up to 275 having 18 lectures in one day. The response to the 3rd symposium was even better and the management has to arrange three parallel sessions including poster sessions to accommodate above 50 presenters. The delegates included major academic institutions, major industries, and R&D organizations along with private participants. This has become now a regular event to be held in 1st week of March, every year at the seminar room of the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, located on beautiful Quaid-i-Azam Campus, University of the Punjab,Lahore. The Best paper and Poster are awarded certificates. Selected papers may be published in Journal of Faculty of Engineering & Technology (http://www.pu.edu.pk:82/journals/index.php/jfet) Journal of Pakistan Institute of Chemical Engineering (www.piche.org.pk) Journal of Quality and Technology Management after review process.
