Abstract

Efficiency of dye sensitized solar cells based of TiO2 increase by creating different metal dyes and organic metal free dyes. Implementation of these dyes to TiO2 based DSSC shows great improvement in performance as compared to bare-simple conventional solar cells. In study, discuss PCE improvement by Au@Ag@Ag2S heterogeneous nanorods, efficient energy transfer in DSSC by dye planarity fine tuning, efficiency improvement by making eco-friendly spacer layers of silicia-titania in monolithic DSSC, demagnetization of charge transportation driven by field and PCE also improved by mesoporous plasmonic Ag-Au@TiO2 core-shell photoanodes which improve the light harvesting in DSSC. All above techniques shows improvements but highest conversion efficiency of power given of organic dye SK202. Organic dyes well show great improvement in power conversion efficiency of Dye sensitized solar cells.
