Khawaja Ghulam Farid (1845-1900) belonged to a family which isfamous for its spirituality and Sufism. He was great Sufi of his era andholds prominent position among his contemporaries. His poetry is basedon the Sufi thoughts. He has expressed his spiritual, emotional andintutional feelings through Sufi terminology.In Sufism ideology of wahdat-ul-wajood and concept of Tohweed(oneness of God) has special place. Khawaja Ghulam Farid has beenable to convey this concept of Tohweed and ideology of wahdat-ulwajoodin a new and unique style.
