Comparison of the ideas of "youth, love and old-age" in the works of Saadi and Ansar-al-Ma’ali

Abstract


Saadi Shirazi, a prominent poet and sweet writer, is known andacknowledged for his greatness in poetry. There is no one like him whomixes the bitter medicine of advice with the sweetness of delicacy. Becauseof the sweetness of his tongue, he is called a prophet in Persian literature. .In Golestan, Saadi is found at his peak and his writings are utmost popular.Both of them (Saadi and Ansar al-Ma'ali) agree on the expression of legaland moral issues. The themes of love, youth, and old age are almostidentical. Qabus Nmaeh is a letter of advice and a mush respected book ofPersian prose, which is very popular both in Iran and the whole of Persianloving world.
