Islamic history and literature witness that women have remained famous fortheir remarkable contribution in maintaining the country’s independence,rise of Islam and showing a strong push against enemies. These bravewomen were not only active along with men in the battlefield but have alsoshown best skills as warriors. On the other hand, they have been the bestnarrators, speakers, authors and poets. The list of these brave andcourageous women is very long but in this particular article, differentcultural approaches of renowned women of Mughal era (subcontinent), NurJahan, Wife of Emperor Jahangir has been discussed. The main questions tobe dealt with in this research are that what status did she achieve in historyand what cultural activities did she contribute in. The biography of NurJahan along with her Persian Poetry has also been discussed in this article.Key words: Nur Jahan, Subcontinent, warriors, speakers, authors.
