Abdul Wase Hansavi is a renowned literary personality of AurangzebAlamigir. He was a prominent writer, translator, phonologist, linguist andteacher of Persian Language. Besides all this, he was a great poet of Persianand Urdu Language. Though, there is no valuable information is availableabout his biography but his valuable and considerable works what he hasleft behind in shape of books like: Resalah-e- Abdul Wase, Samad Bari,Ghraib-ul-Lughat, Sharh-e-Sikandernameh, Sharh-e-Boostan and poetry inboth Persian and local languages and Great pupils trained by him like MirTaqi Mir, Mirza Muhammad Rafi Soda, Khawaja Mir Dard, Shah MubarakAbroo, Tek Chand Bahar, Hasan Ali Shauq, Anand Raam Mukhlis etc,show his intellectual maturity and placement among researchers andScholars of Sub-continent and Iran.
