Abstract
The history of racial and lingual relations between Iran and Sub-continent go backto 2500 B.C. During these long centuries, cultural, political and social and literaryrelations have never been broken. But during the last two decades, the governments ofboth Iran and India have taken some serious steps to strengthen the centuries old cordialrelations. These efforts have been quite fruitful. The government of the Islamic Republicof Iran, in post Islamic revolution period, has shown more consistency for strengtheningPersian language in the region. Some cultural institutions of Iran have been very helpfulin this regard. The role of the Organization of the Cultural and Islamic Relations hasshown consistent activities which has been evaluated in this article from 1998 to 2008.Key words: Persian Language and Literature, Sub-Continent, Progress andDevelopment, Last Decade
