Muhammad Hussain Naziri Nishapuri, a great poet of IndianStyle Persian Poetry in 10th Century A.H, was born in Nishapur, Iran.After having got his earlier education, he migrated to India. Hecomposed verses of superb quality in almost every popular form ofPersian poetry, although his specialization lies in lyricism. In Ghazal, hefollowed the tradition set by Khawaja Hafiz Shirazi. He died in 1021 A.H.in Ahmadabad, Gujrat, India and was buried over there as well.In this article his poetic works have been analyzed and evaluated andcompared with his compatriots.Key words: Persian Poetry, Indian Style, Nazir Nishapuri, PoeticStyle.
