History of Al-Hikmat: A Journal of Philosophy

The Department of Philosophy at the University of the Punjab established its prestigious journal Al-Hikmat in 1967 to promote and facilitate philosophical research and discourse. The journal was founded under the visionary leadership of Professor C. A. Qadir, a distinguished scholar in the field of philosophy, who served as its first editor.

From its inception, Al-Hikmat aimed to provide a platform for philosophical scholarship, encouraging contributions from both national and international scholars.
