Focus and Scope

JFET publishes peer reviewed articles on all different aspects of chemical engineering (including safety and process engineering), metallurgy and materials engineering, industrial engineering and polymers. The articles may be research, case studies, technical reviews, letters, etc.

Peer Review Process

The articles submitted to this journal are assigned an editor in its relevant discipline. The editor will ensure the general requirements are met by the submitted manuscript. If he is satisfied with the manuscript, it will be sent to two referees (one in-land and one out-land). Based on the reviewer reports, an editorial decision is made to accept or reject the manuscript.

Publication Frequency

Individual items are published as soon as they are ready in the current volume. Hard copy is printed once a year of the on-line published issue.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
