Author Guidelines

Research Papers/Articles written in English in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Polymer Engineering, and related fields will be considered for publication provided the contribution is of original research or applied research or comprehensive reviews. The contributor(s) must submit their contributions using on-line submission system and a statement declaring the category of the paper viz. Research or Review type, and that the paper has not been published or accepted by any other journal earlier. The Manuscript should be type-written with double and wide margin on both sides. The Title page should include: the title, the name(s) of the author(s) and their affiliations. It should include, in the beginning of the paper, an Abstract of about 200 words. The Text of the paper may be divided into introduction, experimental, results and discussions, conclusion, acknowledgement (if any) and references. Tables should be laid out with a serial number, title and brief column heading. Lengthy tables should be compiled on separate sheets and they should be referred to in the text. Illustrations should be prepared in black and White in true size. They should also be numbered and referred to in the text. Maximum size should be 6 x 8 inches, with lettering minimum 3/16 inches, high. Photographs should be in JPG format and of good quality. References should be placed at the end of the text and written on a separate sheet in accordance with example given below. - Jean, B. and Marc, L.M.; J. Food Eng. , 2(1), 63 (1983). - Zaiqi, Z.L. and Jifang, L.; Water Treatment, 6(1), 103 (1991). The manuscript should be submitted on-line at www.pu.edu.pk:82/journals as word document. The proofs will made available to the corresponding author on-line, to be checked for printer's errors. The sender should indicate the corresponding author in the manuscript, however, data of all authors should be provided. Reprints of each article published shall be supplied on charge, to be ordered while returning the proofs. However, the author shall be provided a PDF of the published article free of cost.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
5. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
6. Similarity index report ( using Turnitin) of the article has been included as a supplementary file
7. Permission from co-authors to submit the article in the journal should be uploaded as supplementary file. The names and e-mail addresses  of all the co-authors should be inculded while submitting the article. Incomplete submisssion will  will not be processed.
