Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Please submit the articles electronically by sending them to
editor.pakistan-vision@pu.edu.pk in MS Word format. All pages should be numbered consecu­tively. The article should be between 3500 to 5000 words. The body of the email should contain brief biographical information about the author/s. The first page of the submitted article should have an abstract of upto 200 words followed by a list of keywords. All articles must follow the latest Chicago Manual Citation style and formatting guidelines. Bibliographies and endnotes should be placed at the end of the article. Foreign words should be in italics. All articles submitted for publication must be the original work of the author/s and should not have been submitted to, or published by any other journal (national or international). An undertaking to this effect needs to be provided by the author. Utmost care should be taken in submitting statistical data for publication. All headings, columns, rows, symbols, units of measure­ment, periods, political and geographical areas, and sources should be clearly stated in each statistical table. Tables, maps, and diagrams should be numbered and given at the end of the article. They should be clearly drawn so that they are suitable for printing.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
