In the literary and critical tradition of Multan, where critics like Farooq Usman and Mukhtar Zafar have a special place and status, dr. Asad Areeb has also a prominent name and position as a critic. He presents an unbiased point of view. He wrote theoretical as well as practical criticism. In this article, one of his books entitled Kanton Par Zuban is analyzed. His ability to keep a balanced and unbiased approach on various topics is brought to light here.
