Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Bazyaft accepts only unpublished articles. Manuscript must be in Urdu or English language, have an abstract in English language of 200-300 words, minimum 3 keywords in English. The Journal uses Turabian Manual Style. Only Microsoft Word files are accepted. There are no charges or fees of publication in Bazyaft. The reference must be added in metadata section of the article by author herself/himself. All published articles are assigned DOI numbers as identifiers, which can be seen in the metadata section of every article. 

 

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  7. Guidelines for filing a Competing Interest statement

    “A conflict of interest (COI) is a situation in which a person or organization is involved in multiple interests, financial interest, or otherwise, one of which could possibly corrupt the motivation of the
    individual or organization. The presence of a conflict of interest is independent of the occurrence of impropriety.” (Wikipedia)

    A writer is required to submit a Competing Interest statement if s/he has commercial or non-commerccial  ccompeting interest.

    Some examples are:

     

    • Personal fees received by the author/s as honoraria, royalties, consulting fees, lecture fees, testimonies, etc
    • Royalties being received by the authors or their institutions

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
