PhD experiments started in Chinese Academy of Sciences LAHORE: (Thursday, June 02, 2016): In the follow up of MoU signed (22-07-2014) with Chinese Academy of Sciences Dr. Zulfiqar Ali from Department of Zoology visited Chinese Academy of Sciences in Chengdu (14 to 24 May 2016) to provide expertise for start of vermicomposting experiment on uplands (Yanting and Reourgai) and for joint supervision of PhD students. Additionally Dr. Ali is setting the research agenda and undertaking theoretical and applied research in the areas of sustainable soil management with the role of soil organisms. He also extended Punjab University services for future collaborative work under the guidelines of MoU signed with Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment and joint proposal with National Natural Science Foundation of China.
